Price Increase

I have been buying coffee from the same guy since arriving in town six years ago (though the store did recently relocate) and it has always cost me 120 pesos per kilo. Imagine my surprise when I arrived this morning to see this new sign - a 10 peso cost increase! My usual vendor was a bit embarrassed, but I quickly did the math and realized with the current exchange rate I was still purchasing coffee for less than three US dollars per pound. Makes my morning habit all the more affordable.
