Sir Van

This is a shot from the railway station, on my way to see Van Morrison at the Apollo, Manchester. It was the third time I have seen him play live and probably the best. A small backing band - drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and two singers - played with great verve.  A highlight, as always, was Brown-eyed Girl. Sir Van himself was in a good mood, which helped enormously.
