Awakened

We thought that this Hibiscus was dead, but this morning we see that it has awakened.

Lucky happenstance that I was out early to feed the birds for this beauty presented itself. Better yet, a companion bud is showing promise.

Incidentally, birds make good pets. Their activity is always changing, they don't need to be taken for walks, and they don't shed.
