Life in Alabama

We have been in a drought for the past three months, and the weather has been unseasonably warm. So, of course, those are prime conditions for severe weather. Lots of tornado warnings tonight. We had to get in the closet once. Last time we were in the States for a while, massive tornadoes came through our county. So many lost their homes and lives were lost as well. Our boys vividly remember that time as we were without power for a week. Youngest has been especially scared this evening.

On another note, my cousin who is having her mastectomy tomorrow has also found out this week that her son's cancer is back. Doctors previously said that if it came back, there was nothing more they could do. My heart breaks for them.
