Serious Sunday Study

I had a long list of things I wanted/needed to accomplish today, and I did complete some of them, but I also took a couple of hours this afternoon to read the manual for my new camera (Olympus XZ-1) and try out some of its many features.

I love taking close-ups of food, and this camera is great for that -- don't miss this crop from the image above! (My "subject" was a Breadfarm seeded demi baguette, one of our favorite treats from the farmers' market.)

This cheery cherry tomato is a study in contrasts with its smooth, rotund fruit and fuzzy, star-shaped sepals.
