Bamboo

It doesn't matter how high the skyscraper in Hong Kong all scaffolding is made from bamboo held together with plastic ties. I have even seen scaffolding sticking out on its own 30 floors high!

Another interesting point is at the Base they use the pointed end seen in this stack.

Now on train to airport. It was 27 degrees here today, I'm told it was -3 at home yesterday....
