For whom the bell tolls.
Nunc Lento Sonitu Dicunt, Morieris (Now this bell, tolling softly for another, says to me, Thou must die.)
From Devotions upon Emergent Occasions (1623) by By John Donne.
I have found myself in a melancholic mood these last few days which perhaps explains another blip from Foveran kirkyard. This is the iron ring through which the bell rope runs.
On a brighter note we enjoyed an excellent sunset today; see the extra offering.
On an even brighter note I managed to fit new memory chips into my ageing iMac without blowing her up!
