Verada da Boca do Risca

In the spirit of Father O'Sullivan (see "The Lonely Monk and Other Puzzles" by Ivan Morris 1970) we set off from either end of this walk and met somewhere in the middle, thus proving that at some time on the walk we would be at the same place at the same time. I was trying to explain this to my group just before we met the others and it felt a bit "spooky" when we stood facing each other on the path. Also it was narrow and the drops were impressive. A great coastal walk though not for the faint hearted.
