Therapet

Meet Bruno. He's a Therapet - spending his spare time interacting with patients on the Stroke Unit at ARI. Some of his other canine friends enjoy similar activities in some of our local care homes. This reminds me of a story my mother in law told me a few years ago when she was in a care home in Perthshire. Apart from visits from relatives the next most popular visit residents looked forward to was a regular visit from one of the nurse's collie. All the residents enjoyed some collie-time ; which probably did them more good than some of their medication.
I met Bruno today at our excellent Aberdeen City Health and Social Care conference today. A good meeting with lots of positive messages.
