Wednesday: Afternoon Tea

I was invited to a tea this afternoon to say a few words about how attractive the UK is as a holiday destination. It was to kick off 2017 where there are quite a few exciting things happening such as the opening of the Scotland Yard Hotel, located in the original Scotland Yard. It's also 200 years since the death of Jane Austen, 125 years since the first Sherlock Holmes story was published and 20 years since the first Harry Potter book was published (yes, everyone else was surprised at that one too).

I didn't partake of the tea as I had just had my lunch.......
