After the snow
After three long days of snow, it has finally stopped. I personally quite enjoy the results of a good snow and the serenity of a white landscape. It creates a certain crispness to the air that is refreshing. I have to admit, I definitely dislike the part about the snow falling. Can't it just somehow appear and the roads magically be plowed?
This shot was taken as I was running out the door. I tried cropping out the garage doors on either side, but this creates a very odd picture -- very tall and narrow. On the bright side, I like how the cut glass in the lamp creates the glowing lighting effect.
As part of my new adventure into blip-hood, I am trying to figure out how to fit blipping into an otherwise very busy schedule. Today I took this on my way to work. Fortunately I was fully prepared with my P&S. (The shots on my Flickr page were taken at the same time.) Hmmm, I am curious to hear how other people do it.
For those of you interested in other snow shots that did not make the cut, check out my Flickr page.
