Not a lot to see here to be honest except for this giant model that appears to be an homage to Doisneau's Paris kiss photograph and shows a sailor kissing a girl. I haven't got a clue why either. We could have made the 3 hour round trip to Rome by train but, much as we love that city, we decided to chill out with some cocktails and Peroni beer. Tonight's dinner guests we're Syrian's/Lebanese who now live in the USA. Thought it best to give the politics conversation a miss this time so we just talked about Europe and food and even managed to persuade the head waiter to serve us a double portion of rack of lamb.
