Life's like that
Early Sunday morning I saw two instances of a father with a young child which typified where we are heading. First of all the father was using one hand to push his child on a playground swing, while using the other hand to hold his mobile phone to his ear for a conversation probably unrelated to the child. I wonder if he would have noticed if the child fell off? Secondly, a short distance away, a father crossing the road with a small child. Father was staring intently at his mobile phone and appeared to be sending a text as they crossed the road. He didn't see me in my car. What sort of lesson is he teaching his child?
In the evening of this exceptionally hot day I captured the sunset above. What a contrast.
