Harrowing Hail

Just made it home in time tonight. About 1km from home the first heavy drops started, by the time I opened the gate it was a steady downpour, and was torrential when I put the bike in the shed. Got inside in not too bad of a condition and then the water turned to hail...very big hail. I've been caught in a hailstorm out on the bike once or twice before and I'm thankful I wasn't caught in this one. These would have really stung.
