Fortress View

I've taken a couple of days holiday from work to try and fully recover from these frustrating and recurrent illnesses I've been suffering recently. It's right out of character - perhaps it's just an age thing, oh dear.

Anyway, I found the energy and motivation to climb up to Uley Hill Fort from the village pub (no, I didn't go in) and it was absolutely glorious. A couple of hours taking in the views in the winter sunshine was a real tonic, despite being worn out again now I'm home. I couldn't resist  adding some extras too.

I even had the roof down on the car on the drive back and what a surprise to hit dense fog as I approached Bristol. It seems that I'd headed in the right direction for my blip :)
