A New Beginning

After a frustrating day yesterday, it is good to start the day off with this beautiful sunrise.

My brother is here visiting and staying at our house as our sister is "babysitting" Hooligan (a few blocks away). The siblings are in a pickleball tournament this weekend, so they were off early to practice leaving me to my usual morning routine.

Gary beat me soundly at a game of Scrabble while he was eating breakfast and I was enjoying my first cup of coffee.

I am grateful for a good night's sleep and medicine that helps make my eyes feel better.
