Coughton Camera

Combined two desires today, one to see more of the local-ish National Trust properties, the other to give A an outing.  We headed over to Coughton Court near Alcester (pron. Ulster) which was opening for a few days suitably decorated for Christmas.

Apart from being lived in by the same staunchly Catholic family for 600 years, it's claim to fame is this is where the gunpowder plot was hatched.
