Exploring With Photos

The annual edition of Discover Southern Arizona magazine was published last Sunday.  They call for photos of people, places, things and events from all over the area.  It was the third year I've submitted photographs, and the third year some have been chosen for publication.  In the 2015 edition, five of mine were included. Last year, however, only two were chosen.  I hit the mini- mother load for the 2017 edition...nine made it into the publication.

Of the nine, six covered a 1/2 page and one even rated a 1-1/2 page spread.

The hummer shot is the only one I have ever had matted and framed.  It's always exciting when you get any credit for what is merely your hobby...Regardless of how seriously you take yourself!
