The Louvre

Went up to Paris today - partly to do a bit of Christmas shopping, and partly just to enjoy Paris in the sunshine! It was a beautiful day, clear blue sky all day, though it was quite cold. Having done a bit of shopping, I treated myself to lunch in a cafe near the Tuileries. Later, I enjoyed walking around the Tuileries gardens, along the river, and round the outside of the Louvre, particularly enjoying the Louvre bathed in the late afternoon light as shown in my blip, with the honey-colored facade reflected in the pools.
