Finally winter is here....

I think it is safe to say that we are now onto winter....has snowed now on and off for the past 2 days.

It started yesterday very early, and i had to drive up to Sydney in wretched weather, for an appointment to have my knee assessed!   It went well, and i am now in the line up to cross the various bridges that will end with a probable knee replacement.   Glad to say it won't be tomorrow.....i probably have a good year ahead of me to accept this truth.    Luckily there are cortisone shots that i can rely on to relieve the pain when it flares up again.

Spent the day trimming the last batch of ugly mugs....96 of them...and then putting handles on them...all done!   that's all the wet work done for 2016!!!  Now i have a day off, then get them in the kiln on saturday, and glaze and fire them again next week.   by this time next week i'll be finished with production for the year!!   I am so looking forward a rest and some other creative directions!!
