After the Rain

A praying mantis hatchling on waterlogged curry flower buds. There was another nearby that was the smallest I’ve ever seen, about two thirds the size of this one. It was hiding under a flower and I couldn’t get a good shot of it.

I also found a very wet bumblebee. See extra.

When the rain stopped I went out and got on with garden work, even though everything was so wet. Some jobs have been put off too long.
