Wheat

With the wet weather it would appear that the crops are ripening more slowly this year. There is certainly still a green tinge to much of the wheat and barley hereabouts. The paths are slippery on the steep slopes of the old railway after last nights rain, as I found out when I slipped and fell headfirst down one of them after taking this picture. Thankfully no-one was around to see this act of stupidity and the camera suffered no damage too!
