Hanging in there

This rose is at the back door and, I believe, was planted for my Gran by my Dad. Till recently it had the name tag still on it - it's called something like Anniversary.

It blooms late in the summer and, in certain light, it looks almost fluorescent. After the recent hard frost, I think it's lucky to be looking at all.
