Outside Uppsala slott

I realized that on my trip I did not take one single photograph of Uppsala slott. Instead I took many photos of the curbs outside the castle. Well, maybe I am just more interested in the urban design than architecture.

I found Uppsala as a city of rich history, although I somehow did not manage to suck so much of it. It is also a university city but in this time in late december most of the students had already gone home. In day time there the main shopping street was filled with people.
