Winter Woods

Master H and I visited the woods as planned today. Beloved was almost entirely engaged with final preparations and delivery of the school Christmas Fair all day, which meant that I was on hand to spend the day with my boy.

We had fun at home with Playdoh, Paw Patrol, lego, tower building and in the afternoon, Highwoods Country Park at Colchester. We had the play area and its obstacle course all to ourselves, which is a first. 

After a visit to Nan on the way home, it was time for dinner and off to the school to join in the festivities. As a result, we are now the proud owners of a pot of reindeer food decorated with pipe cleaner antlers and google eyes, a bauble birdie and absolutely no raffle prizes. I'll have to have a word with Beloved in time for next year. As events co-ordinator, she ought to co-ordinate a few prizes in our direction surely ;-)
