Dog Food
Went to Tollie where the RSPB has a red-kite feeding station but didn't expect to see any at this time of year and didn't. But took a stroll along the lane through the woods. On the way met a woman on a bike with a frisky dog which seemed to be full of beans. Eventually turned round and stopped to get a shot of this when all of a sudden the lady and her dog came round the corner. The dog scoffed the slug from right under my nose. Apparently it often eats them "as if they're big jelly babies" said its owner. Ugh. She was saying that ospreys are around at nearby Loch Ussie, two adults and two fledglings, so it may be worth a future visit. And great countryside even if nothing else.
