2016 Monday -- Backseat Cargo
We made our exit from Cayucos, our favorite little beach town (located on California's Central Coast), at approximately 9:30 this morning. These three were in the backseat. I really believe they are as sad about leaving as we are.
We've been here 11-nights. We drove here on Thursday afternoon, November 17th (my 67th birthday) and have thoroughly enjoyed these autumn days. Both weekends we were here it rained, and for southern California people, rain is delightful.
But it's now time to return to the realm of schedules and routines and classroom teaching. The end of the fall semester is just about to arrive. So we'll soon pack-up November and be present for the grand entrance of December.
To explain the photo -- Max (black) in the middle and little Chloe (white) is situated behind me and Mitzi (tan) has her place right behind Mr. Fun. Both girls sleep for the majority of the 4-hour drive, but not Max. Even with the help of sleep meds, he does not sleep. He'd love to be in the front seat so he could "watch." For the almost 6-years he's been part of this family, he has loved traveling and prefers the front seat.
That's it for the last Monday of November,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
