Learning to weave

An expert weaver and dyer now lives in our compound (she has been coming here temporarily) and she has most kindly offered Wednesday mid-day as an informal get together on her patio for the purpose of learning or just working on whatever textile process you are doing. So this is my first weaving ever.  This is backstrap style weaving, which is very common among all the indigenous people of this region.
