Trying something new

I went over to my friend Lillian's yesterday to paint and schmooze and I tried doing something different.  This was really fun and I'm inspired to try out more of these.  Hopefully the ideas I have in my head will translate on to paper.  I've been working myself up to start doing more with the figure, which was where I started out over 40 years ago.  I'm nervous, but very excited.
