It's coming ...

There's no escape, even on a trip to the supermarket.

The run up to Christmas this year seems to have been constant for months. Glitzy shop decorations appearing as far back as September, Christmas trees in October, first Christmas card arriving in mid November.

It's making me nostalgic for when Christmas was treated as something special, not just a huge retail opportunity. Bah humbug!
