Pineapple
We slept in this morning then went to help Julia choose a new bed.
That is such a First World dilemma. A vast room full of mattresses all colour and number coded according to minuscule differences in firmness and softness. You can even get combination ones so each side is different to suit each "sleeping partner".
You could also lie on a computerised bed to be tested to narrow down the selection process.
After that we made a quick trip to the beach for a surf. The first wave must have twisted Mr isbi's neck as now he can barely move it.
This afternoon we visited Vanessa who did a locum for us 18 years ago. We hadn't seen her since,
We topped off the day with dinner at "The Stunned Mullet", Julia's favourite restaurant in Port Macaquarie.
It was an excellent meal but she forbade me to take photos so the blip is a pineapple in Vanessa's garden.
I don't think I've ever seen one growing before. It really looks quite odd :-)
