Christmas Lights switch on

Another busy day. Painting floor of soon to be studio, collecting boys n 2 pals from school and wandering through Christmas market to a gourmet lunch at Greggs. Home for a couple of noisy hours of cornet/baritone practice and some very crazy mums and dads games that seem to involve 3 year olds with guns and parents using force fields?! Boys play meets girl play :-D
Then it was rookies for C while D n I went swimming. Then it was chocolate bars all round before heading out to the Christmas lights switch on in Penicuik. The town centre has become very run down but there is a very active group regenerating it as a place to shop. The new lights really lift the centre and I hope it works!
Then it was off round to have take away and prosecco with friends. Lovely :-)
