Introducing "Hubert"...

...Beanie Baby ( whose real name is in fact Bruno, but we needed a name with a French accent at the time ).
My best friend from schooldays moved to Philadelphia to live at the start of the 90s, and we continued to communicate regularly via both snail mail and then that new-fangled thing e-mail!  We regularly exchanged "ironic" small gifts, so I gained a Beanie Baby or two and she acquired a selection of pigs - and for some reason the two communicated with a French accent... Now that just has to be silly enough for any Saturday...

Happily Sue has been back in Tynemouth for some time now - but I have to confess we are still sometimes as silly as we were all those years ago at school - she's one of those friends you can have a real good belly-laugh with ;))
Hubert does not normally sprawl on the light btw, just in case any of you are worried about 'elf!
