Large White

I surveyed a maize field today and I can tell you there is nothing more disconcerting than making a map when you cannot see more than a metre in any direction and you cannot tell where you are apart from a map on a logger showing you the survey points you have already picked up.

Aside from survey points here is another butterfly, a large white ( I think). I do promise that sometime soon there will be something other than butterflies, bees or fields of corn. I am beginning to bore myself, mind you he does look chipper there on his buddleia.
