big night out

Drove down to Lusaka today - took a very long 5 hours.

We are doing a team building program tomorrow at a school for Northstar so we get to go out for dinner on Northstar! That means steak for everyone! Yum!

Met a friend of a friend - random really. My friend from university who now lives in England, knows someone from business school who now lives in Lusaka so we finally got together to meet! He came and met us for a drink while we were eating but had to run off as he already had plans for dinner.

When we asked for the bill, the waiter brought it over and said that it had been paid for by our friend! How kind and generous and such a great surprise!
