Heron

I've seen quite a few herons recently. The puddles have been in the fields for so long, the birds must think they are permanent features. There is a trout fishery quite near here, so I guess that is the main attraction. One flew across the road in front of my car at the weekend then swooped over the river, but of course I didn't have my camera to hand. So this is the nearest I can manage...
