Christmas crudités

I had anticipated a fairly laid back morning but between one thing or another it was hectic.

I was late for Bookclub and still had to put together "the Scottish cocktail" when I got there. It was a great afternoon with everyone contributing to our Christmas lunch. The crudités were from Merrilyn and pretty tasty they were too.

Less than an hour at home before we headed out for tapas with the guys from the squash club. I think the staff saw us coming as, after the first round and a fair bit of wine, we had enough to feed an army.

Don't think we will be back but the company was a lot of fun.

Looking forward to some shut eye before we start again tomorrow.
