Guiseley 1 Chester FC 1
A fun day out today with a few geocaches along the Leeds Liverpool canal at Apperley Bridge followed by a visit to the Junction pub in Baildon. Its a CAMRA pub with its own brewery and the Junction Blonde was excellent. Then on to the main event Guiseley v Chester.
The game finished 1-1 which was a fair result. James Alibi scored again with an excellent overhead kick and then Guiseley equalised with a penalty. From the opposite end of the ground it looked a reasonable decision but apparently it was questionable and it seems that the referee told the Chester manager at the end of the game that he shouldn't have given it.
After the game I had my first blipmeet with someone I had first encountered on blip. It was great to meet up with sgwarnog and check out his photo of the game here
The photo shows Blaine Hudson, Sam Hughes, Alex Lynch and Elliott Durrell of Chester with a Guiseley striker who I'm sure Peter will identify.
I've got an exciting couple of days doing some extras work in Liverpool starting tomorrow so apologies for the lack of comments and responses until Tuesday.
