Wind Turbine Building at Night
This is one of several massive wind turbines being erected at Wainstalls moor, the high point between Halifax and the Bronte Country of Haworth.
As we were driving out of Halifax up to Queensbury, there was an eerie presence high on the horizon. We decided to investigate and drove up hill and down dale, and then up again!
This is the eighth turbine built so far, and they are clearly working into the night to achieve their deadlines before winter sets in. When it will be bleak. The turbine blades have been added today, and there is a support gantry to the left, topped with a warning light flashing red.
