Celebrate

A so-so sort of a day, tempered by continued foul weather; but a thoroughly  enjoyable evening when eight of us went out to dinner, organised by colleague-friend Erin,  for us to celebrate that my Masters' dissertation was recently submitted at long last!!  (Fingers crossed that it will pass!)  Great company and delicious food - we hardly noticed the torrential rain outside the restaurant.  Thank you Erin, and everyone who made this a memorable evening for me. 

Back home afterwards, the photo was taken from my bedroom window, after the brief thunder and lightening storm, showing the lights of the Bosphorus bridge, teased with deliberate camera shake in to a bit of a colourful, celebratory light show image.
