TREE MAN....

... OR tree house!

A back Blip from yesterday, and actually using a pic from Friday which I have meant to show but the sunset was pretty nice!

Anyway, yesterday was planned to do a night sky of the crescent moon/Mars and some other activity?? Well, when we got to go out, yep you guessed it cloud!!!

So, thought rather than miss a day, a chance to maybe show that tree there in the sunset/dam shots.

It is quite something and have taken this on arrival with late light and zoomed in. It is a ghost gum (one of my fav gum trees) and shows some "miss spent youth"??

Obviously in its early growth for some reason was split (see the gap in trunk/s) then rejoined and then somehow the "window". Maybe for all we know man has played some part in natures growth "back when"!

But, however it has happened quite some design.

Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE to see that dark hole in middle there is a birds nest still to see for what exactly?

Sorry if I have upset those who religiously stick to "day of pic" but thought it worth using as a back up?
