LAST MINUTE LOSS

There are two Rugby League teams in Hull, UK - and never the twain shall meet !
If you were born in the east of the City, you support Hull Kingston Rovers, or Hull KR - those born on the west of the river support Hull.

Here a crowd of 8726 watched a thrilling game between Hull KR (in red and white) and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats (in blue), at the MS3 Craven Park Stadium.

The game had added incentives - Wakefield are managed by the ex-manager of Hull, and the side contained three ex-Hull KR players ! At the break, Hull KR led by 14-8.

Needless to say it was nail-biting, with Wakefield snatching victory with 40 seconds to go. A drop goal made the score 30-31 to the Wildcats. Very quiet on the way out !
