Coot(Fulica atra)

My husband doesn't think Coots exist here in Oman, but they do and here is the proof! I think this one is having a chuckle, after making funny clucking noises from the undergrowth around the mangrove, this Coot finally decided I was not a threat, it did take over an hour of waiting to just get this shot, but a new bird to add to my collection! Love the red eyes, the white facial shield and the the water droplets.
