Awesome kids TRYathlon, a super fun day

The hugely popular Weetbix Kids TRYathlon series  is held in 16 different centres across the country each summer. The opening event of the 2016/2017 series  was held here  today with over 900 children taking part.(this is a small one) It's all about taking part and TRying your best.  Fabulous organisation with huge encouragement all around the course as they completed their swim, cycle and run and plenty of official helpers on hand to help them on their way. A 42% increase in entries nationwide so far this year, which, given our high child obesity rates, is great.  I have no doubt this young fellow will always remember the day Olympic  silver medalist Luuka Jones presented him with his medal.
