GOMA is 10 - and pretty cool

There were two reasons for visiting the Gallery of Modern Art in Brisbane today; firstly, it's the gallery's 10th birthday and there are several new exhibits; secondly, it has really cool air-conditioning, a great escape from the exceptionally hot, humid weather we're having.

Look carefully in one of the tubes and you'll see a woman in blue jeans travelling down inside it. There are two giant tubes twisting down from the gallery's top floor which offer visitors a truly interactive art/fun experience. There were long queues for this opportunity today though I hope to go back and have a go on a less busy day. (Carsten Holler's Left Right Slide)
