Shoe Liberation Army

My favourite gallery in Helsinki (of three great ones visited) was the Amos Anderson Art Museum, visited this morning. In addition to two very good private collections, today there was a special exhibition - called "Boutique" - a fusion between art and fashion (it says in the brochure.) This piece - "Shoe Liberation Army" - is by Minna Parikka and Jani Leinonen. Viewed large you can see lots of shoes.

Elsewhere today, Finland's public places were far less crowded than the previous three days, maybe to do with the cooler weather or just because it was Monday.
