Christmas culture
I thought I was long overdue for a bit of culture, so last night we went along to the splendid Leeds Town Hall for a concert by the Manchester Camerata.
This is rather a grainy and hand-held shot of the interior, but it does show what a magnificent hall it is.
It is one of the largest town halls in the country, and is now used mainly for concerts and civic functions.
The extra shot is of the giant ferris wheel that is stationed outside as part of the pre-Christmas festivities.
Judging by the amount of tasteless Christmas jumpers on display, and the number of rather boisterous people in town, it would seem that party season is well underway. I think we were probably the only two sober people on the train home.
