crete2cape....vintage air rally...

So I have been following this vintage air rally on facebook - they left Crete on 12th November and this morning they arrived in Lusaka at the airport - yesterday they were also in Zambia!  I went along to see the planes and just arrived at the right time as some of them were doing a fly past - some very close to the ground!  In fact, one was coming so close I thought I was going to have to jump out of the way!  It was incredible to see these small planes and imagine flying in them...some have open cockpits so it must be extremely cold!  They have 11 more days before they reach Cape Town!  I am not sure which team the plane in the blip is from!

Thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon, and tonight am off to a Carol service - somehow carol services in the heat are strange!!!
