The Forth, Original and Best

What a great day for a walk to blow the cobwebs away!

Mrs B and me popped down to South Queensferry and took a walk in the bracing, cold air and enjoyed the view of the bridges bathing in the beautiful low sun.

The Forth Bridge is by far the best and I never get tired looking at it and amazing at the design and construction of this magnificent structure without the assistance of a single PC or CAD package!
 
The new Queensferry Crossing (such a boring name) is really taking shape with its suspension cables now in place and can be seen behind the Forth Road bridge in the extra.
