Anyone for Grass Sledging?

Down to the Teviot this morning.

At 'Born in the Borders' there's a new activity - grass sledging. The sledges resemble the normal, red plastic article, but underneath are two tank-track like strips.  No steering, no brakes.

A slope has been prepared and marked out, quite steep, I thought (but I am not adventurous).

M was keen to try it - being a few years the wrong side of 80 hasn't curbed her enthusiasm for speed. I had to threaten to tell her daughters ...

A few children were having a go when we returned from our walk, and she looked enviously on.
